Keeping Your Child’s Smile Free from Gum Disease

  Gum disease is a  common dental problem that affects children, as well as adults. Unfortunately, when left untreated, gum disease can cause a variety of problems, from Swollen , bleeding gums, bad breath to tooth loss and even serious health issues. That’s why it’s so important to take steps prevent and treat gum disease in children.Here are some tips suggested to help keep your child’s smile free from gum disease.  Teaching Good Oral Hygiene Habits  The best way to prevent gum disease in children is to teach them good oral hygiene habits. Start by helping your child brush their teeth twice a day, and floss at least once a day. Make sure they use a soft toothbrush and toothpaste that is specifically designed for children.
